Baahubali – New Industry Hit in a weekend!

Baahubali has on its opening day amassed a spectacular near 40 Cr share worldwide for the Telugu version. This is not just double the previous best but exceeds even the double by solid margin. Just a reminder the previous best was approximately 16 Cr worldwide, although the worldwide term wasn’t in vogue then.

What this humongous opening has meant is that Baahubali has now every shot to emerge as new Industry Hit by the end of the weekend itself. The film needs to do 35 Cr more to achieve this feat and looking at how the second day has commenced this is a surety says the trade, with second biggest day in the form of Sunday ahead.

Another thing to remember here is that all the number that are mentioned above are just based on the Telugu version. Yes, they don’t include other versions which also have got biggest openings for dubbed films in respective languages. Oh yes, it’s that massive, take a moment, pause and let the numbers sink in. And then simply relax and see where this all leads to, first 100 Cr share Telugu movie is well on the cards. Where can it go from there is to be seen.
