Baahubali Re-Release Controversy: 5 Hours Too Much?

The 10-year celebration of Baahubali got bigger after the team officially announced that the Baahubali movie is returning to screens on October 31st as Baahubali The Epic, with the combined runtime of both parts.

Following this update, even though many people started celebrating it, as Baahubali is one of the biggest blockbuster movies in Indian cinema, some people were disappointed with its runtime.

Some sources reported that it’s going to be around 5 hours and 27 minutes, which is the actual combined runtime of both parts.

However, the Baahubali team officially clarified that they wouldn’t take the whole day and that it would be around the same timing as an IPL match.

According to some social media speculations, the Baahubali team is planning to reduce the runtime of Baahubali: The Epic to around 3 to 3.5 hours.

Even though the Baahubali team clarified this, some netizens are sharing concerns that watching an IPL match is worthwhile even if it’s too long, as the results aren’t known until the end. However, since this is a re-release and most people have already watched it, it won’t work if it has a runtime of almost 5 hours.

Nevertheless, despite some concerns, many people are happy about the re-release of Baahubali, and it remains to be seen whether the team reduces the runtime to 3 or 3.5 hours in the following days.
