Baahubali Writer to Pen the Political Drama Nayak

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s one of the most famous films is back in highlights. We are talking about his political drama ‘Nayak: The Real Hero’ which hit the screens in 2001. Apparently, a sequel is in the talks for the Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, and Amrish Puri starrer.

Taran Adarsh, a popular film critic, confirmed the news via a tweet while also revealing some details about the sequel. The script for the upcoming venture, ‘Nayak 2’, will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad whose contributions can be seen in blockbusters like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

While Eros International Media also let out the news, there are no further details regarding the film right now. The movie will go on this year itself with Anil Kapoor as the lead again. The actor, who played a TV journalist in the last one, is currently busy filming ‘Mubaraka’ with actor Arjun Kapoor and hasn’t reacted to the news.
