Bajrangi Bhaijaan connection to Telangana

Just like the girl in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, we have seen a girl, Geeta in Pakistan who is deaf and mute claiming she got separated from her family in India and some how reached Pakistan. She was living with some NGO since then. The story got aired in News channels after the release of the movie.

Since then four families from Bihar, UP, Punjab and Jharkhand have so far claimed that Geeta is their daughter and now a couple from Telangana – Krishna and Gopamma claims Geeta has their daughter. They say they lost her from a Gospel festival in Guntur district on January 28, 2006.

She was 10 years old then. They claim she was born deaf and dumb due to the congenital problem and was not even sent to school. They say they can easily recognize her as she had a small mole on her forehead, warts on her hands and a slight squint in the eye. The couple owns 2.5 acres of land but due to drought they have turned agricultural labourers.
