Coming to the topic, the makers of the Balakrishna starrer have unveiled a new poster of the film, marking the occasion of the film completing 100 days run.
This poster is evidently taking a sly dig at Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which released in competition with the Balakrishna starrer this Sankranthi season.
“NBK’s roaring blockbuster. Century with Single Hand,” the poster reads. The hidden message here could be that Balakrishna single-handedly hit box office bonanza and also registered a 100-day run with Veera Simha Reddy while Chiranjeevi needed Ravi Teja in this multi-starrer, Veerayya.
It is not uncommon for posters of competition films to take sky digs at each other as we’ve seen something similar with Ala Vaikunthapurramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru in the past. But as for Veera and Veerayya, both of them are funded by Mythri Movie Makers, so this poster turns all the more interesting.
Incidentally, Mythri didn’t release these posters online. But they’re seen outdoors as wall posters.
