Balayya for NKR, MGR for Lawrence

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s ‘Pataas’ is going to Tamil as ‘Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva’ in the form of a remake, starring Lawrence Raghava in the lead. Like many Tamil films come to Telugu in the form of dubbed movies, though a remake, this film will also come back to Telugu.

There was a remix of a super hit song ‘Arey O Samba’ from Bala Krishna’s movie Rowdy Inspector in the original, ‘Pataas’. Following the same trend, Lawrence is also using a super hit number from legendary Tamil actor MGR’s movie as this movie is targeted for Tamil audiences.

When ‘Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva’ comes back to Telugu, the story may not surprise audiences as it is a known one. However, MGR’s remix number in the remake will be a different experience for Telugu audiences as contemporary Telugu audiences doesn’t know much about Tamil legends.
