‘Bandhua’ – Superstar’s Working Title

After the dwarf character of Kamal Haasan in ‘Vichitra Sodarulu (‘Apoorva Sahodarargal’ in Tamil), Indian film lovers didn’t get another chance to watch any actor making a great impact playing a midget. But no issues as the Bollywood Badshah is doing one such role.

Shahrukh Khan is going to play a dwarf in one of his upcoming movies to be directed by Anaand L Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ fame. The working title of the movie is out and it is said to be ‘Bandhua’. The film didn’t start shooting yet as Shahrukh is busy with other projects.

This film is set for December 2018 Christmas release. Hence, there is a lot of time for the makers to get into the production of the movie. Deepika Padukone will be playing the female lead in the film. This is going to be a mega budget movie to be produced with an estimated cost of approximatey Rs. 150 crores.
