US Cricket teams named after localities of Hyd!

Telugu NRIs living in abroad always take up various activities to connect their roots. Of late, Cricket has become the connecting way with the local cricket clubs being named after the places they hail from in both the Telugu states.

We have learnt that there are cricket teams named on all prominent localities of Hyderabad and even some important towns and cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Due to the time constraints, these teams mostly organize T-20 or T-10 matches.

The participation fee in these cricket matches go up to $250 per team while a member of the winning team in a league match can win $300 as prize money. They hire pitches of the cricket grounds to play these matches over the weekend.
