He wanted to make a film with Pawan Kalyan. But, the star never showed any interest though they met each other several times. Even after a meeting for a project, there were no vibes and the star wasn’t excited or keen to do a film with Geetha Krishna.

He had subjects for stars like Jr. NTR, but he felt that there was no genuineness says Geetha Arts. Even Chiranjeevi wanted to do good films and hence he launched his production house Anjana Productions.

After Geetha Krishna’s ‘Sankeerthana’ tanked at the box-office, Chiranjeevi didn’t even acknowledge having discussed on making a good movie with Geetha Krishna. “So, when stars display their ego, I too had to keep up my self-respect,” observes the director.
