Beast Disastrous Result Affects Acharya!

Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast turned out to be a washout, especially in the Hindi belt. The three-day net collections couldn’t touch even 1 crore in the North. This disastrous result has forced filmmakers in the South to think twice before releasing their films on a pan-Indian level. And the team of Acharya is one among them.

After the massive success of RRR, the makers had planned to release Acharya‘s Hindi dubbed version in the North to cash in on the craze of Ram Charan. But after the disastrous result of Beast, the makers have cancelled their plans.

Megastar’s box office pull in the North is zilch, as seen with the collections of Sye Raa in 2019. If Acharya’s Hindi version doesn’t do well, Ram Charan’s image might take a beating.

Mega fans also want Ram Charan to venture into the Hindi belt again with Shankar’s film directly next year and not with something like Acharya, where his role is minimal.

So Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2 will be battling this Eid weekend in the North. But trade circles say that KGF 2 might dominate both the Bollywood releases.
