Beer Abhishekam replaces Palabhishekam!

Whenever a stat hero’s film is going for release, the common sight which used to catch our attention at theaters is the huge cut outs of their favorite hero adorned with garlands. If that wasn’t not enough, they used to go for ‘palabhishekam’ (offering milk, literally bathing the cut outs with milk).

But after watching the recent releases and the fanism of the star heroes’ fans, it seems gone are those days of palabhishekam. Fans are looking for new ideas to show their admiration for their favourite stars. After ‘Baahubali’s release, animal sacrifice was done in front of Prabhas’ cut out by fans.

In the film Prabhas preached against animal sacrifice but crazy fans didn’t pay heed to that. After ‘Srimanthudu’ release, Mahesh’s fans adorned his huge cut out with lemons garland and bathed him in some alcoholic beverage.

Even here, the fans showed how crazy they are by going against what Mahesh preached in the movie against alcohol. Fans are inventing new ideas to show how crazy they are. But if they don’t take the message their screen gods are preaching, what’s the use of this extreme fanism?
