Bhaagamathie Sending The Wrong Signals?

Bhaagamathie is about to release in few days. A pre-release function has also been held, and the main lead Anushka is doing her duty by handling promotions across Telugu and Tamil industry. Amidst all these, there seems to be one significant confusion, and that is not appropriately addressed. It is the reason for giving wrong signals.

The problem existed right from the first look. What is the basic premise and genre of Bhaagamathie? While the movie was in the making, there were numerous rumors floating around. However, from the first look and teaser, people have changed those expectations to the lines of Arundhati.

But, the director of the movie, G Ashok, and actress Anushka reiterate that it is a thriller like never seen before. There is a missing link here between what the cast and crew are suggesting verbally and what the audience is getting visually. We have seen in the past how wrong expectations created by promo materials have killed the movies. Let us hope that is not the case here. Bhaagmathie hits screens worldwide on January 26.
