Trailer Talk: Run of the Mill Thriller

Promising actor Sree Vishnu has been attempting a wide range of subjects. Some of them hit the bull’s eye and some didn’t. He is all set to entertain the audience in yet another crime thriller Bhala Thandanana. Baanam and Basanti fame Chaitanya Dantuluri directs this film that will arrive in theatres worldwide on May 6th.

The trailer of the movie was released at an event today. Going by the trailer, it looks to be another crime thriller involving hawala, money laundering, kidnapping, and other crimes. Catherine Tresa and Sree Vishnu play investigative journalists who unravel dangerous crimes and scandals. A 2000-crore scam forms the main crux of the film.

The trailer is in the familiar zone with little novelty. There’s a “been there, done that” kind of feeling. The BGM tries to elevate the proceedings somewhat. The dialogues are quite generic. Sree Vishnu seems to be trying to gain the image of an action hero with this film.

Rajani Korrapati and Sai Korrapati of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram are producing the movie.Talented technicians like Mani Sharma, Marthand K Venkatesh, and Peter Hein are involved in the technical crew of this film.

Chaitanya Dantuluri’s B-sentiment continues with Bhala Tandanana after Baanam and Basanti. It would be interesting to see if he gets his first success with the film.
