I Don’t Know – Far From An Anthem

The second single from Bharat Ane Nenu is out. It is ‘I don’t know’ and is sung by Bollywood actor cum filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.

The song has a philosophy behind it dealing with the education. The makers want it to be an anthem for the same. However, the single lacks in that aspect. It can be a peppy number at best due to some catchy beats, but the singer choice mars that. The impact is missing, and more or less it feels like Devi Sri Prasad is behind the mike. On a side note, it has become a joke as the song is out on April 1st. Still, there is a class in Farhan’s voice when he mouths the English lyrics that is fine.
