Bhumika Was Stalked for Chay’s ‘Savyasachi’

With ‘MCA’, Bhumika made a comeback to Telugu movies after a gap that came only because she is married and a mother of a kid. Now, she is doing a special cameo appearance in Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming movie ‘Savyasachi’.

The actress rejected the offer several times. Once, she was busy with ‘MCA’ shooting and the next time, she wanted to think once before accepting the role. When the makers approached her for the third time, she couldn’t say no. That’s how the makers of Savyasachi got her on the board.

Speaking about her fresh innings in Telugu, she says that this is how it works for heroines in the industry. But, heroes don’t have to go through all this in the male-dominated industry. She is totally right.

There was a time when she was working with all the big stars of the industry. Today, those stars are still doing hero roles and she is left with no choice but to accept character roles.
