Prabhas’ Spirit: Some Relief But Is It Enough?

Prabhas’ fans are facing confusion about his upcoming projects. Several films are lined up, including The Raja Saab and Kalki 2, but updates have been scattered. This lack of clear communication makes it difficult for fans to track progress.

However, there is now some clarity. Producer Bhushan Kumar has confirmed that Spirit, the collaboration between Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will begin filming in the next 2-3 months. This is the first solid update in a while.

Bhushan also mentioned that the sequel to Animal, titled Animal Park, will start production only after Spirit is completed. The production could begin in 2027, with a tentative release in 2028.

Meanwhile, the teaser for The Raja Saab is ready and will be released once Prabhas finishes dubbing. The teaser is expected to be key for business deals and marketing. It could hint at a release later this year.

Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, is progressing well and is targeting an August 15, 2026 release. There are also rumors that Prashanth Varma’s untitled film might start before Spirit.

Kalki 2 is expected to begin by the end of 2025. Salaar 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, is expected to start after he finishes NTR’s film.

With Prabhas abroad, fans are hoping for a clear roadmap upon his return. For now, Bhushan Kumar’s confirmation about Spirit is the only official update. However, it’s still uncertain until the shooting begins in 2-3 months.

There are no changes to Prabhas’ current lineup: The Raja Saab, Fauji, and Spirit.
