Big Brand Without True Star Power – How?

If there is one actor in Telugu cinema who has literally done nothing to prove himself as a star and yet is a brand that is ever increasing it has to be Daggubati Rana. This is not a knock on the actor but rather crediting him duly for what he has achieved. He without any doubt one of the most recognized faces of Telugu cinema and it can’t be denied.

So, how has Rana been able to achieve this. It’s quite simple to say really but surely it would be difficult to execute, otherwise every other actor would have been in his place. It is because of the way he has promoted and managed himself outside of movies and within cinema without bothering for lead roles. That burden is on someone else. He lands in just the right projects which are talked about and he is part of them. Of course, there is the Baahubali.

Another very important aspect is his present in social media and real world. He is always visible one way or the other doing something for the industry. Or he is busy promoting the films. The visibility factor is too high. A combination of these two keep the actor in public radar all the time.

If one has been keenly following the words of Rana’s father Suresh Babu, he has time and again said that an actor has to have a unique quality separating him from the rest, that’s how stars are developed, is his overall summation. Well, Rana seems to have taken the advice seriously and is silently developing his stardom. Don’t be surprised if Ghazi opens well than expected. It would be the affect of this silent brand value. As the actor celebrates his birthday today, we wish him a very Happy Birthday and all the best to his future endeavors.
