BIG Question: Who’ll Be Puri’s Next Hero?

Currently, director Puri Jagannadh is facing a tough time. After the release of Liger, his fortunes changed overnight. The film was declared a disaster from the morning shows itself, and Puri Jagannadh’s work as writer and director was severely criticized.

His next project Jana Gana Mana again with Vijay Deverakonda, which was announced in a big way a few months back, was shelved, citing viability issues.

Done and dusted with his activities in Mumbai for the past three years, Puri is back in Hyderabad. One question that is on everyone’s mind is, what’s next for Puri? Which actor is going to give him another chance?

There is a talk in the industry that none of the top stars would even think about doing the next Puri Jagannadh film. Even tier-2 heroes will try to avoid doing his film.

There are some speculations that Puri might work on iSmart Shankar’s sequel. But then, even Ram will think twice about doing a film with Puri again.

If no one agrees to star in his film, he might have to settle down with his son Akash Puri as the hero for his next film and try to relaunch him for the umpteenth time.
