Big Relief For Suriya’s Brother

In a huge sigh of relief, actor Suriya’s brother Karthi has scored a genuine success with his latest release where it matters the most, in Tamil Nadu. Karthi’s latest film Kadaikutty Singam is doing superb business and is termed a hit.

The most heartening and vital point is the success of the movie in the smaller B, and C centres. Karthi’s last few films have had decent to excellent talk, it includes films like Thozha (Oopiri), Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (Khaki), but their success was limited to the Chennai city and few A centres only. After a long time, Karthi has tasted this kind of patronage from the mass audience.

In Telugu, however, that is not the case. Chinna Babu has failed to pick up. It has got decent looking numbers overall, but that opening was so low that the steady flow at such levels has taken the movie to the fair level, at best case.
