BJP leader calls Superstar 'Deshdrohi'

Everyone born in this country is free to express his/her own views but not impinging on the freedom speech of others. Like every free Indian, Shahrukh voiced his opinion on increasing religious intolerance in the country in the last 10 years. During a media meet on his birthday, Sahrukh put forward his opinion.

But BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya didn’t take this opinion in the right way. He made severe remarks on Shahrukh Khan that his heart belongs to Pakistan though he is making money and fame in India. He further added calling him ‘Deshdrohi’. This erupted the ire of not only the fans of the superstar but also various leaders from different political parties including BJP.

Kailash had to take away his words by giving explanation on his remarks saying that they were misunderstood and he only meant to say that Shahrukh wouldn’t have been a superstar after Amitabh, if people were intolerant in India. But the damage is done and several big heads in BJP started disowning the remarks of Kailash Vijayvargiya.
