BJP National Leader Disowns Actor Shivaji?

It is known fact that actor Shivaji had joined BJP before the elections hoping that it would help the truncated after bifurcation. The present conduct of Centre and it’s ‘wait and see’ attitude towards AP has angered many and Shivaji is one among them. Though he expressed confidence on Modi, he didn’t go behind in demanding special status for AP as promised by BJP.

Here comes into scene BJP national leader from AP Somu Veerraju who says that Shivaji has got nothing to do BJP and he isn’t related to BJP. Speaking to media in Delhi, besides disowning Shivaji , Veerraju says that BJP is committed to the development of the state. He reminds that the centre has announced Rs.7000 crores for AP which is demanding for special status.

He tried to equate the allocations to AP with Special status trying to bring in inference that AP is getting more than it would get if it gets special status. He also reminded about Centre’s assurance to provide power to AP even before the state asked for it. He added that Centre has also sanctioned projects to AP that weren’t in the Reorganisation Act.

Disowning Shivaji who demanded for special status and mentioning other grants given to AP, is BJP trying to fool people to forget the promised special status?
