Blockbuster to be dubbed into a sign language

Kabir Khan directed superhit flm “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” told the beautiful tale of a little Pakistani girl with auditory and vocal deficiencies. The little girl had lost her way on the border of India and Pakistan and suddenly found herself in India where she meets a young man who takes it upon himself to reunite her with her family.

The film starring Salman Khan in the lead won the heart of audiences and was a big hit. The film was based on a real life story of Geeta who herself is troubled with auditory and vocal deficiencies and is stranded in Pakistan. However, upon her request, the film would be dubbed in sign language so that people with special needs like her could enjoy the film.

A sign language interpreter informed that he has been in touch with Geeta in Karachi who has made the request so that “a large number of people like her would be able to watch and understand the movie, especially its songs and dialogues in a better way.”
