Blockbuster Director Reaching out to Sanitation Workers

The Summer heat is killing people even when they are sitting in the safe haven of their respective homes. It’s hard to even imagine the plight of the sanitation workers working in the red zone areas of GHMC and around Gandhi Hospital where the threat of the coronavirus is heavy and maximum.

Moved by the risky services rendered by the sanitation workers during this hot Summer, blockbuster director Sekhar Kammula tied himself up with Vijaya Diary and started supplying badam milk and buttermilk packets for at least 1000 workers every day for a month.

It has been a week since they started the work to give some respite to the workers. Seeing that the model is working well, Sekhar Kammula is now extending the same service to the sanitation workers in Kurnool Municipality. Thoughtful initiative!

GHMC officials are successfully implementing this and Sekhar Kammula took to his Facebook page to thank for making it a successful one. If anyone interested to help the workers toiling hard in the Summer’s heat, they can collect money and do the same suggested the filmmaker.
