Trailer Talk: Hitting The Right Notes

Actor Sathya Dev who has been seen playing side characters in few Puri Jagannadh films is coming with Bluff Master where he plays a full-fledged hero. It is a remake of cult Tamil movie Sathuranga Vettai.

The original in Tamil marked the debut of director H Vinoth of Khaki fame. It was widely appreciated for its take on money and a guy who goes to any extent of manipulation for the same. It was a film rooted firmly with local Tamil sensibilities. One can guess what usually goes wrong with remakes of such flicks.

Bluff Master based on the teaser seems to have successfully avoided the mistake and also got the casting right to get the authentic Telugu milieu feel. The dialogues are also well adapted bringing in the local flavour. The tricky part will be to retain the essence and punch of the original by giving it as much Telugu touch as possible. Many fail in getting the balance right. Let us see where Bluff Master lands.
