That’s why she rejected those offers as quick money was not her priority though some of her Bollywood counterparts felt that South movies mean making a good deal of quick money. She spared saying Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata are like family for her.
She isn’t the first Bollywood actress who accused South film industries as extremely patriarchial and actresses being treated as objects of desire. The list seems to be growing with Radhika Apte, Taapsee Pannu and now, Amrita Rao. By the way, Amrita Rao faded away from Bollywood for more than five years and is now back for playing character roles in three Bollywood films.
