Bollywood Director Took A Private Plane To Meet Prabhas

Prabhas who has been part of many genres got the opportunity of doing a mythological film, Adipurush, for the first time. It was Om Raut’s vision of having Prabhas as Lord Rama pushed him to approach the actor.

While the makers have completed the production process, here comes an interesting anecdote as to how Om Raut approached Prabhas and how the latter got convinced for Adipurush.

The filmmaker when he wrote his modern tale of Ramayana, only thought of Prabhas. However, Om Raut had never met Prabhas before and the filmmaker took a private plane on a loan for a few hours and flew all the way from Mumbai to Hyderabad.

Om Raut happened to meet Prabhas in person after the latter was left spellbound by the few scene descriptions by the filmmaker over a telephonic conversation. And the rest is history. The film is in the post-production process which relies heavily on VFX and other works and the film is touted to be one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema.
