In case of ‘Saaho’, Bollywood adjusted all the release date fearing the euphoria surrounding ‘Saaho’ after the gigantic success of ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ and the craze Prabhas enjoys across the country. However, the same isn’t the case with Chiru’s ‘Sye Raa’ though Bollywood producers bought the Hindi dubbing rights.
The openings of the movie will be affected badly when pitted against a straight Hindi movie and that too a star hero’s film. Hrithik Roshan enjoys a bulk of fan following and young hero Tiger Shroff also has his share of fandom among the youth.
So, it’s not easy for any dubbing movie to get high openings as it would be the second choice. Nevertheless, the content would speak for itself if the dubbing is done properly without glitches.
The teaser of the movie has garnered good responses and Bollywood kind of promotions might fetch ‘Sye Raa’ good publicity. Let’s hope that a Bollywood biggie will not mar our regional movie’s prospects.
