Box Office: How Did Gaami And Bhimaa Open?

This Friday, two contrasting films hit the Telugu box office. While one is Gaami, an adventure drama, the other is mass actioner Bhimaa.

Coming to the box office verdicts of these two films, Gaami, despite being an offbeat film collected more than regular commercial material Bhimaa.

Gaami collected in the range of Rs 2.75 crores gross on its opening day in the Telugu states while Bhimaa collected in the range of Rs 1.80 crores. Interestingly, Gaami opened on a relatively strong note in ultra mass belt Ceded which doesn’t usually happen for a film of this genre.

Gaami’s main fortunes come from the USA where the film has grossed over $265K till now which is a pretty good number. This largely adds to the worldwide gross of the film.

The Vishwak Sen starrer has started off on a bright note at the box office while Bhimaa started on an ordinary note. The overall box office prospects could be announced once the weekend box office run is done.
