Boya Down, Temporarily

Amid reports claiming that there was a huge fallout between producer DVV Danayya and Boyapati Srinu and the obvious reason behind the spat is the debacle of Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, the only solace to the director has come in the form of Balakrishna. The director’s immediate movie will be with the Nandamuri hero and he is keenly working on the script.

The epic sorts of an embarrassment like ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ in the case of Boyapati and ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ in the case of Trivikram ended up meat for trolls and also heavy losses to not only the producers but also to the careers of the directors of the directors of the disastrous films. Boyapati is certainly going to pay a big price as some expected combinations like Boya-Prabhas are unlikely to happen, in near future.

However, the only relief for him is Balayya and the credit of their previous outings ‘Legend’ and ‘Lion’, solid mass entertainers. Hope, the combo factor would rescue Boyapati for the time being but he has to deliver continuously to convince big stars like Prabhas and others to consider him. There is no immediate threat for his career, as of now. A lot depends on how strong will be his comeback, though.
