Brahmastra Performing Like a Hollywood Blockbuster

After a phenomenal first weekend, Bollywood’s mythological adventure film, Brahmastra, the collections dropped significantly on the weekdays. But it looks like the film is again back on its feet for the second weekend.

The second Friday collections surprisingly saw a jump from Thursday, which is a rarity in Bollywood. The film is all set to cross the 10-crore mark on its second Friday.

The bookings for Saturday and Sunday are looking fantastic, and the film is all set to surprise everyone again. The 3D and IMAX shows are in the fast-filling mode, and the families are expected to throng theaters in big numbers. The film has been liked by the kids, which is also proving to be its biggest advantage.

The film should comfortably cross the 35 crore mark in the second weekend and head for a 55-60 crore second week, taking its India total to 210 crores. The Telugu and Tamil versions have also held up quite well and are expected to generate decent revenues in the second week as well.

In the overseas market also, the film is doing roaring business, and Brahmastra will cross Rs. 350 crores (gross) collections worldwide by the end of the second week.

The film is performing a like a Hollywood blockbuster that does amazing business on weekends and only decent on weekdays.
