Brahmotsavam cameraman arrested

The camera crew of the highly awaited summer film of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam was arrested in Tirupathi today. They were later released after the police got to know the real intention.

Right from the title Brahmotsavam and film’s launch there has been a clear connection of the film with Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. To take this element further strongly in the film the unit had decided to shoot the “Ratha Sapthami” celebrations of the lord for the film. However they seem to have forgotten the fact that commercial shooting of such proceedings are prohibited by the Tirumala authorities.

When it was brought to police notice that the shooting is taking permission without any permission, the camera crew was taken into custody. When the truth was known in inquiry they were released immediately.
