Britain imitating Pawan, using star for poll campaign!

In India the election campaign scenario paints a colourful picture with films stars roped in for pulling crowds to the public meetings. Recently we have witnessed the great star power of Pawan Kalyan and his impact on the election result. Many give the credit of TDP’s success in election to Pawan’s election campaign expressing confidence on Naidu.

Likewise a Britain Labour Party candidate Keith Vaz roped in Bollywood star Abhishek Bachan to garner the support of Asian community and particularly Indian community in Leicester where one can witness the biggest Deepavali celebrations besides India.

General elections in Britain are going to be held on May 7 and Mr.Bachan campaigned in a road trip in Leicester East on behalf of Mr.Vaz. The actor claims on Mr.Vaz’s previous charitable work for Indian communities. For Telugu audiences, comparing Abhishek Bachan to Pawan’s power might not be apt but what is common between them is filmstars campaigning in elections using their stardom.
