Buchi Babu Playing With Fire, But No Longer?

Buchi Babu is one of the few lucky directors in Telugu cinema who was able to get the chance to direct a superstar like Ram Charan right with his film. He was even in talks with NTR for a potential collaboration, but eventually went with Ram Charan.

It is all fun and games till the project materialised, and this was followed by a lot of love and affection from mega fans who wanted Buchi Babu to deliver a film with Charan.

But this warm approach is slowly diminishing and a sense of urgency and restlessness is being observed now. This can be seen if we observe the comments under social media posts related to Buchi Babu, including his speech at a film event last evening.

This situation has reached the boiling point now where even fans are anxious about Buchi Babu and his working style.

It has been nearly a couple of years since Peddi had been going on and off but the unit is still shooting to this day. The original released slot in April was missed due to various issues and as of now, there’s still no affirmative update on release date.

There are indeed speculations about the possible release in June and related hints from the makers, but the crucial update on the actual date is still missing. This is not the right space to operate a big film with a star like Charan.

We are at a point where even fans might slowly start to turn against Buchi and he will have to face the wrath like hoe Shankar faced with Game Changer due to extreme delay. This is never the right space to operate for a young and upcoming director like him.

So instead of playing the game of fire by frustrating fans with confusion on release, Buchi is better off with some clarity and announcement on release date. He has already appealed to fans with a winking teaser and Chikiri song so it all comes down to clarity of through regarding release date and the tenacity to stick to it.
