Buchi Babu: Smart Pick By Charan

Well, the news is official now. Ram Charan is officially collaborating with Uppena fame Buchi Babu for his next. The project was announced by the makers a little while ago.

After a lengthy wait after delivering a blockbuster like Uppena, Buchi Babu has locked Charan. His first film Uppena had a rustic touch and went on a rampage at the box office.

Given the fact that the obvious choices for pan India projects, Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel are locked with multiple commitments, the options are limited for Tollywood star heroes.

As for Trivikram, he’s known for soft family entertainers which might not have much appeal in Pan India circuit.

So, in one way, Buchi Babu is the better option for Charan as he delivered a decent final product with Uppena. He showed that he can handle rustic subjects, which is the need of the hour for pan India credence.

Also, Charan has locked a project with Sukumar and it is reported that a small chunk of the shoot also happened not so long ago.

So it is clearly evident that Charan is picking the right pan India options. He picked maverick Shankar after RRR and now, talented young filmmaker Buchi Babu, and then with the man behind Pushpa, Sukumar. This is clever and smart planning from Charan.
