Can KGF-2 Go near Baahubali in Hindi?

Whenever there is a South movie making noise at Bollywood box-office with its Hindi dubbed version, the comparison with ‘Baahubali’ has become very common. It’s the turn of blockbuster Kannada movie ‘KGF‘ now. KGF’s craze can be seen in all the dubbed versions along with the original in Kannada.

Can the second part of KGF go anywhere near Baahubali for its Hindi version? Trade analysts who have been keenly observing the box-office collections of KGF for its Hindi version don’t think so. Though the first version’s collections had been great (40 Cr+ Hindi), they were not going to break the collections of the first installment of Baahubali that collected Rs 118 crores in Hindi alone.

However, the KGF’s second part will enjoy the craze the first part has been enjoying since its release. Nevertheless, reaching the first part of Baahubali (118 Cr) or humongous Baahubali-2 Rs 500 core plus mark set by the Hindi version of BB2′ in the domestic Hindi market is almost an impossible task for KGF-2.

The TRP of the first part, when aired on television, will give us a hint about how big KGF-2 is going to be. Usually, the trade will take this as an input to bet the on part two.
