Can Suriya Stand Before Pawan Kalyan?

Officially, Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming untitled movie with Trivikram is going to come to the theatres on 10th January 2018. So, it’s going to be a big Pongal release for Telugu audiences. The Telugu version of Suriya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ is also coming for Pongal release.

Let’s see the pros and cons of this scenario. We know, Suriya has a good market in the Telugu States and the Telugu market is also important to him. But, presently, he is in bad form and nothing worked for him in the recent past. Even ‘Singham 3’ didn’t give any respite.

Pawan Kalyan is in his peaks of his career and he is coming with his dream director Trivikram. If Suriya’s movie is coming for Pongal’s release, it would be difficult to get a decent number of screens in the Telugu States and hence, can’t even open well here. Let’s wait and see if there will be any change regarding the release date of Suriya’s film.
