Case Against Vijay For Promoting Drugs

Tamil superstar Vijay is in the news for a wrong reason now as a police case has been filed against him for promoting drugs and narcotic substances.

RTI Selvam, a resident of JJ Nagar, Chennai has filed a police complaint against Vijay with the Chennai police commissioner earlier today.

In his online complaint, Selvam mentioned that Vijay is encouraging drug use through the newly released song from his upcoming film, Leo. He took offense to the lyrics of the song, which he says, are glorifying drugs.

The activist demanded the commissioner to file a narcotics control case against Vijay for his irresponsible act of promoting drug abuse through the promotional content in his upcoming film.

The song is Naa Ready and it was released recently and is trending on social media. Now, in a new turn of events, this song has landed Vijay in controversy for the aforementioned reason.
