Casting Couch Put: Gays in Telugu Serials

Those who watch television serials regularly know actor Kranthi of Zee Telugu fame. In his latest interview, the actor revealed about the casting couch in the Telugu glamour industry, especially, in the television industry. He accepted that there is gay culture and a few gays had even asked him.

Though the male casting couch hasn’t much spread in the Telugu serial like in Bollywood, there are gays working here, even. He was approached by the gays who worked as technicians, make-up artists etc. He revealed that the gay approaches are very common in the modeling industry. As long as there are different human beings, this kind of approaches is very common opined the actor.

These days, we are not only hearing a lot about female casting couch but also about male casting couch and the prevailing gay culture. Of late, we are witnessing how the actors are opening up about the issues in the industry and this revelation may lead more revelations in the coming days, from others, as well.
