CBI objects Jagan going Jerusalem!

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the prime accused in several disproportionate assets case had appealed to the CBI court to permit him to go to Jerusalem along with the family. Jagan wants to go to Jerusalem in June or July and asked the court to give him his passport so that he can apply for the visa to Jerusalem.

However CBI objected to Jagan’s Jerusalem tour saying that all the cases are in primary stage and Jagan’s foreign tours will only delay the proceedings of the case. They reminded the court how Jagan tried to delay the case proceedings seeking unnecessary exemptions from the case.

CBI is likely to file discharge petition in this case. Jagan is not supposed to go out of the state with out the permission of the court. His passport was also handed over to the court. Based on all these conditions, Jagan was granted bail. Any attempts to tamper the evidence or influence the court proceedings will only land Jagan in jail again.
