Censor Board Officer finds replacement

The tenure of Dhanlakshmi as a Censor Board Officer for regional Telugu Cinema has been the most talked about one because she got involved with many controversies. She became very popular (?) for her strict conduct, suggesting cuts which left the film makers in a situation to mull over the fate of their films if they accepted her cuts.

Her transfer came as if spring was back in Telugu Film Industry. Since then Telugu producers and film makers have been waiting for her departure and some one else coming to take in charge of the office. The latest update on her transfer is that the officer who is going to take charge from her is finalised. He is a senior IAS Officer by name Vijay Kumar Reddy from 1990 batch. He earlier worked as the regional officer for Censor Board during 2004-10. Good news finally for TFI!
