Trailer Talk: Funny But Missing The Energy

The theatrical trailer of Nithiin’s new film Chal Mohan Ranga is out. It is filled with funny moments but in a very understated and restrained manner. The youthful Joie de virve is missing despite all the attempts towards that.

Another issue with the trailer is while it showcases the fun and entertainment, there is nothing related to the actual story. It is okay not to reveal the entire story, nothing wrong with that, but for a trailer that lasts more than a minute to have only funny bits in it raises concerns over the content. Romantic comedies or dramas are all about chemistry; sometimes it is hard to get that across in trailer. We hope that is the case here and wait for the movie.

Check out the trailer below. Nithiin and Megha Aakash seem to be continuing their LIE tour here as well. Krishna Chaitanya directs Chal Mohan Ranga. It releases worldwide on April 5. SS Thaman has provided the music, and it is a relatively decent success.
