Changing pay scale equations in Tollywood

Tollywood is undergoing a season of bad phase these days. Big films which were thought to become sensational block busters only met road blocks at the box-office. Blame it on the story or the lack of proper vision dealing with big movies, almost all the big films incurred losses to the industry and especially to the distributors who buy big films going by the big names attached to them but not after watching the final output.

To bail out the distributors & producers from the crisis situation, sources say that Jr NTR and director Puri Jagannadh are foregoing cuts regarding their respective remunerations as the film’s budget is going out of hand. Probably NTR & Puri are the first ones to come forward with this kind of welcome move. Earlier when Puri & NTR’s movie was halted, it was rumoured that NTR is asking for some changes in the script. But going by the latest news in a popular English tabloid that NTR decided to go for Rs.3 crore pay cut, now we are left wondering whether it is really the script or the remuneration which has caused the delay.
