Finally, Arvind Swamy came into the scene though there had been reports that initially, he wasn’t interested in repeating his role for the Telugu remake. So, what brought him on board for the Ram Charan starrer? Some reports say that the actor had charged a huge amount for the negative role.

While he was paid only Rs. 5 lakh for ‘Thani Oruvan’, he got Rs. 5 crores for ‘Dhruva’. Before Thani Oruvan’, the actor’s comeback movie ‘Kadali’ was a huge disaster and hence he was in less demand then.

After ‘Thani Oruvan’ became a blockbuster movie and Arvind’s portrayal of the stylish villain won accolades, he might have hiked his remuneration. Anyway, Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 5 crore is a huge difference. He turned really expensive for ‘Dhruva’.
