Ramayana Twist: One Actor, Seven Different Roles

Nitesh Tiwari’s much-awaited Ramayana has yet another interesting surprise, and this time, it comes from actor Chetan Hansraj. The actor has revealed that he will be seen in seven different characters in the highly anticipated epic.

Chetan Hansraj plays Raja Mali, the maternal grandfather of Yash’s Ravana, in the film. The actor has already spoken about his scenes with Yash, calling the combination “pure fire” and describing Raja Mali as an important character in the story.

But that is only one part of his association with Ramayana. After completing his portions as Raja Mali, Chetan was reportedly offered six additional motion-capture characters.

He revealed that these include one of Ravana’s brothers and a demon, while the identities of the remaining characters are being kept under wraps. The revelation makes Chetan Hansraj’s involvement in Ramayana particularly interesting, especially with six of his characters being created using motion-capture technology.

With Chetan Hansraj now confirming seven roles, his presence in Ramayana is clearly much bigger than initially expected. The identities of his remaining characters could remain a mystery until the makers reveal more details about the ambitious epic.
