Vicky Kaushal’s historical action drama Chhaava is a massive box office success, becoming the first Bollywood blockbuster of the year with a worldwide gross of over 500 crores.
The film continues to perform strongly, and it is expected to cross the 400 crores net mark in India by tomorrow due to the boost given by Maha Shiv Ratri festival.
Telugu audiences who watched Chhaava were highly impressed by Vicky’s powerful performance. Ever since its release, there has been growing demand for a Telugu-dubbed version.
Now, the much-awaited update is here—Chhaava is officially set for a Telugu release, with Tollywood’s leading production house, Geetha Arts, handling its distribution in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Telugu version is scheduled to hit the big screens on March 7. With Geetha Arts backing the release, expectations are high for a strong opening and quality dubbing. The film is likely to follow the success path of Kantara, which was also distributed by Geetha Arts in Telugu.
While many Telugu-speaking audiences have already watched Chhaava in Hindi, a significant portion still prefers to experience it in their native language as they don’t understand Hindi.
If they embrace the film, it could turn into a grand success. Additionally, Rashmika Mandanna’s presence adds further appeal for Telugu viewers.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna play key roles, adding more appeal to this period drama.
