Incidentally, Chiru’s previous film Acharya also opened to very poor numbers at the box office. Keeping the overall box office result of Godfather aside, it is essential that the film gets off to a good start at the box office. Else, Chiranjeevi’s reputation might take a beating.
But for the film to get off to good openings, there should be a winning promotional campaign. But the makers of Godfather appear to be least bothered about the same and the lack of promotions implies the same.
Also, Salman Khan is associated with the project. But the promotions are inexistent, strangely enough, with just two weeks to go for the release. They are in dead sleep mode for now.
Mega fans are already breathing fire on the production house through social media platforms over the lack of the promotions. But their plight is going unheard.
