Megastar Chiranjeevi faced a humiliating result with Acharya. The film ended up as one of Tollywood’s all-time disasters in terms of theatrical returns. It casted a lot of negativity on Chiru’s image.

Now sadly for Chiru, the Acharya humiliation is continuing on the small screens as well. Wonder how? Here’s the story.

Acharya had its television premieres very recently. and the film garnered a TRP rating point of 6.3. The TRP for HD+SD is 7.1.

These are shockingly low TRP points for a multi-starrer featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan. It is evident that the disastrous verdict of the film after the theatrical release has rubbed into its television premieres as well.

Chiranjeevi is usually loved by the elder section of the audience and he had good family following as well. But none of this helped Acharya with its TV premieres. The film has set a new low of sorts for TV premieres of a star hero film.
