Chiranjeevi’s Noble Idea May Be A Deathblow To Them

Telangana Government had decided to shut down for good in the wake of Coronavirus trying to extend its sway into India. Telangana Government has declared complete closure of bars and pubs, educational institutions, all public meetings, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, film theaters, etc until the 31st of this month.

Immediately after these measures are taken, Megastar Chiranjeevi announced his complete support to the efforts of the Government. He also volunteered to halt the shooting of his Acharya for the next 10 days to 15 days so as to avoid the mass gathering of the people.

Even though the intention of the Megastar may be noble, this will be a death blow on numerous Junior Artists who depend on the daily wages of the films. If more films follow the suit, they will go jobless for the next fortnight or so and will have to starve. Moreover, if things lead to hoarding of the daily essentials, the prices will go making the lives of these people miserable.

So, the Film Industry should do something about the junior artists and other small-time crew to ensure their livelihood will not be disturbed during this shutdown.
