Chiranjeevi Thinks About The People Who Were Forgotten

Star films and medium-budget films are in a hurry to resume their shootings as the COVID-19 cases are coming down. The filmmakers are vaccinating the cast and crew they require for the next one or two months before starting the shoot. In the statement here, ‘the cast and crew they require’ is the keyword.

There are many film workers, Junior artists, and others who do not fall into that category of star films and medium-budget movies. They are left to their mercy to get vaccinated. If they could not get vaccinated in the Government facilities for any reason, many could not afford the 3000 Rupees for two doses of vaccine.

This is for one person and if we consider a family, the bill would go up to 9000-12000 Rupees. Feeding the tummies has become a major challenge in this pandemic and this bill would be not tenable for 100s of people. Reports from the Filmnagar are that Megastar Chiranjeevi is focusing on those people for the free vaccination drive.

The drive which will be conducted in association with Apollo Hospitals will be funded partly by the funds of Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) established last year and partly with the own funds of the Megastar. This is a thoughtful gesture by the Megastar and should be appreciated.
