Godfather Criticism Continues…!

Megastar is coming back after the utterly forgettable Acharya with Godfather. However, this time he is playing it safe as it is a remake of Mohanlal’s much-loved ‘Lucifer.’

Yesterday, it was officially reported that a song shoot is going on with Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, who is doing a special role in the film. The song is being choreographed by none other than Prabhudeva.

Godfather was already being criticized for being a remake of a Malayalam film that almost every Telugu movie connoisseur has seen on the OTT platform. Now the news of this song shoot has invited more criticism.

People on social media are bashing the makers for diluting the hero’s character by adding such dance numbers. In the original, Mohanlal didn’t do such item songs, and adding such unwanted ‘masala’ would only make the Telugu remake a Khichdi.

But on the contrary, some Mega fans are saying that it is good that the makers are not remaking it as it is the original and are making it more entertaining by adding commercial elements.

Many said it would be exciting to see Chiru and Salman shake their legs together on-screen. And if the choreography and song turn out well, this number can become the film’s highlight for the masses, given the craze of both the stars.
